NOUN (The action of pretending; deception)

The digital dance piece, Noun: The action of pretending; deception, was created by Belinda Hunt and myself as an exploration into the theme of Artificial Intelligence. Through this explorative lens, we delve into the number of realities that may persist through the outcome of the advancement in Artificial Intelligence. By aligning our stage orientation slightly off-centre, our vision for this piece adapted to creating an abnormal feeling within our synchronised movements. This quality enhanced the reality we were creating, allowing the audience to not only witness a universe built upon a simulation but to immerse themselves in the feeling of our dystopian reality.
